Beximco Communications Ltd. is looking for Head of Retail Operations (AGM/DGM)


Job Description / Responsibility


Retail Network Development: Identify, propose, develop and execute long term Retail network across the country. Development retail framework to ensure right sizing of retail network, geographical and market specific spread approach. Explore new/alternate channel opportunity to penetrate into market/households/target markets. Closely with Distribution Team, Regional Sales Team & other relevant teams that link business building activities and volume/share of market objectives in line with overall company strategies.·


Formulate and Execute Retail Strategy: Develop Retail Strategy for the company which includes retail segmentation or classification, classify strategic action plan according to segmentation. Develop operational excellence by implementing retail strategy and process. Ensure compliance and regulatory standards across retail network.·


Retail Life Cycle Management: Establish right framework of onboarding new retail, Retail performance management with performance matrix and KPIs, De-board weak and non performing outlets and their replacement plans, Stock availability at 100% retail. Propose relevant training programs for retail whenever required in terms of new product/campaign/new launches etc. Ensure compliance framework with relevant documentation with retail.·


Retail Loyalty Management: Guide team to plan and implement channel rewards structure to keep channel motivated. That includes commission structure, Incentive model, Retention plan, Retail advocacy etc. Also should explore other soft and engagement action plans to keep the retail loyal/motivated/engaged to achieve company’s sales target and long term objectives.·


Market Visit: Meet Retailers nationally on a regular basis to ensure relationship development with customer and effectiveness of activities. Collect, analyze and report data for implementing plans. Continuously monitor the market and gather customers insight on the latest trends and developments, analyze competitive landscape and utilize all these insights in retail strategy and effective decision making. Also include relevant findings and insights in regular reports with key stakeholders.·


Retail Campaign Management: Retail campaign is an integrated part to drive sales. Should be hands on to design and develop effective retail campaigns based on objective, market need, new launch any combat plan. Designed campaigns should be effective enough which should be measure through campaign evaluation framework. Have to bring newness and freshness in campaigns, at the same time campaigns have to be productive/effective with cost effectiveness·


Retail Budget Management: Manage resources (Budget, People, System etc.) ensure maximum availability, visibility and awareness of products in retail market. Also monitor expenditures and do necessary optimization and bring efficiency in retail expenditure to operate within short/long term budget.·

Collaboration with cross-functional team: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the retail strategy, campaigns, promotions, loyalty programs are aligned with other departments, including other vertices of Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance.


Organizational objectives: Be the flag carrier of the organization to uphold the reputation by carrying out all business activities to respect local law and organizational guidelines; ensure all compliance matters are resolved as per local laws with minimum risk to the Company.


Educational Requirements

  • Skills Required: Customer Relationship Management, Emotional Intelligence, Strong Convincing Negotiation Skills, Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, Ethics and integrity, Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
